A river which has taken several lives in passed years, that feels huge and intimidating standing next to it becomes a fantastic ride under the control of the talented guides. Cracking jokes along the way and explaining the river sections they can sooth even the most jittery floater. I had a female guide on my boat (Kelly), she was all of 119 pounds, yet she was able to control our boat on class 3 and 4 rapids with surgeon like precision. She was so good it felt like cruising down the river in a floating Cadillac.
