Spring time in the rockies!

Today was a beauty with summer like temperatures in the low 60’s, clear blue skies and not the slightest breeze. It was down right balmy! Arapahoe Basin’s legendary summit peaks at 13, 050 feet above sea level. In the most extreme conditions the ski-patrol will issue an “extreme wind-chill advisory”. Last year there was a day that recorded 55 degrees below zero at the summit. I call those days "No Skin Exposed days", there are usually no lift lines.

Today was riding in a single poly layer and sunglasses! ;-)
