Our own bugs!
Unlike most home brewers Keyrock (pictured) and I culture our own yeast a couple of days before we make a batch. We are planning to brew an IPA on Saturday. Just one of the many benefits of being a science dork!! Known to the scientific world as saccharomyces cerevisiae, and to us as Booze Bugs, this yeast has been extracted from our favourite microbrews.
