A Watercolor
Will Floats in Guernsey Lake on a hot summer afternoon, Guernsey Lake WY circa 1998.
A "face practice" painting I whipped up for my cube at work.
It was so hot(near 100F) that day as I remember. Too hot to fish, it felt great to be on the cool water with a luke warm beer and my brother. At the time both attending Colorado State and on summer break, we hadn't a care in the world.
I'm working on faces because I find mine not quite right and mottled, like I painted them with a Q-tip. I really admire portrait artist who can create smooth lines and detail, capturing a person with paint and paper.
