any time skipping through a stream is warranted, you know you are having a good time:) Summer in CO certainly is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos with the Nikon! Can't remember if I told you, but I bought a Sony. It was really inexpensive for what I ended up with. Can't remember the exact model off the top of my head. They always have crazy model numbers, unlike the Nikon series:) And definitely not as much configurability.
Your photos are amazing. What kind of camera do you use?
ReplyDeleteLove your post, found on searching colorado mountains.

Hi!
ReplyDeleteI’m shooting with a Nikon D-40X with a Nikon AF-S 18–200mm 1.35-5.6 lens.
I’ve been shooting mostly with the manual “S” setting, which allows the user to adjust the shutter speed with the thumb dial. Then I adjust the aperture with the “+/-“ button (by the shutter) to taste per exposure. It is a little more work than “AUTO” but lets me account for crazy light conditions. I’m working on skies and depth of field lighting. Thanks for the comments!
